Exploring EVs: Future of mobility


A documentary exploring the feasibility and extent of the apparent ‘future of mobility’, specifically, electric vehicles. The Indian automobile market, currently the 4th largest in the world and rapidly growing, behaves in peculiar ways when it comes to adopting new industry standards thanks to harsh tax structures and peculiar consumer demands. So, we spoke to an industry expert and an environmental activist / EV enthusiast to explore and investigate how far EVs have come in India, and what lies ahead for them in terms of challenges and opportunities.

Students at Times School of Media, Bennett University produced six documentaries as part of the Project Green You, an environment project funded by the German Foreign Ministry under the mentorship of the German filmmakers. Each film received Euros 1500 as production costs. Filmmakers Bence Mate and Felix Kriegshiem of Media Frontline E.V. selected the six documentary ideas from the ten pitches that were made by the students.
