Talking about the MoU, Prof Sunil Saxena, HoD, TSOM, said, “This will take the classroom outdoors and the students will learn by doing and working on actual live projects.”
The exchange ceremony was preceded by a press conference with Ms Sharma and Mr Salil Yadav, General Manager (Projects) of GNIDA, for the media students where the two officials discussed a slew of development projects that GNIDA was planning to undertake. These included the extension of Aqua Metro line to Greater Noida extension, attracting big investors to set up factories in Greater Noida, and setting up more pink toilets. “There are issues we need to address such as rehabilitation of street vendors but the approach I prefer is when people come up with solutions to the problems,” Ms Sharma said.
