Feebleness of Human Mind is mindboggling

By Adrija Chakraborty

Vulnerability. A word which can be said to describe a moment of weakness. The feeling of being powerless and overwhelmed. A phase when we are physically and emotionally drained and dejected. Vulnerability is only an emotion to feel at the spur of the moment. The lack of force or energy we need to cope with our daily lives makes us vulnerable. The time when a small act of normalcy can trigger us emotionally. Stress, anxiety, sadness, fatigue, and most importantly fear. We get so exhausted carrying on that we are unable to cope with the daily challenges.
The distorted and disoriented thoughts, the unreasonable and unbearable fear of failure, the constant urge to quit, all these are moments of weakness. People are most likely to struggle to make rational and responsible decisions spontaneously during this time. A trap of self-blame and criticism. The toll of this negative connotation which takes on mentally and physically affects us a lot. We tend to survive the tension, the nerves, the rapid heartbeat. But we fail to live and breathe.
But what if we see this as a moment of growth and self-reflection? What if we acknowledge our fears, weaknesses, and imperfections, rather than trying to hide them or pretend they don't exist? This emotion, at its core, is about being open and honest with ourselves, an act of self-compassion. Turn it into a way of facing fears and insecurities. It takes a lot of courage and strength to overcome this feeling and help us grow as an individual.
It may seem that being vulnerable, we can always show our true self to others. We learn to trust people and accept their hands to lead us to a better place of mind and body. We help each other to grow into a healthy and strong relationships. To conclude, vulnerability maybe a moment of weakness, but with determination it can be used to boost our blooming self.
