Have you ever done this?
By Pratishtha Agrawal
We used to do a lot of silly, hilarious, and ridiculous things as kids. Here is a list of some of the common silly things most of us may have done in ourchildhood . Hope you can relate to many of these.
1. Eating chalk or chewing erasers: Ever tried this weird snack?
2. Mom’s dupatta- superhero cape: Ever dressed up using mumma’s dupatta and pretended to be a superhero flying around the air (running around the house).
3. Imaginary games: Ever made up your own games like “The floor is lava” or “treasure hunt”?
4. Weird food combinations: How many cold drink combinations have you made and drank? And how many times have your experiments tasted just disgusting?
5. Prank calling: Calling random numbers and talking with different accents. Well, some of us do it now also.
6. Impersonating celebrities: Ever imitated your favorite celebrity and try to mimic their dance moves and dialogues? Dressing up like them and acting like them the whole day.
7. Bunked classes in school: Ever bunked class and went out of school by jumping from some wall or some secret door.
8. Mimicked teachers: Mimicked the teachers we hated the most and made our friends laugh.
9. Creating imaginary worlds: Almost all of us have created a different world/ planet where we were princes/princesses, superheroes, etc.
10. Playing “Ghar Ghar”: This is for girls. How many of you have dragged and forced your male friends or brothers to play this with you?
We used to make up a lot of fictitious scenarios filled with innocence and silliness when we were younger. It was so much fun back then but now that I think about it, I realize how silly I was!
This is my last blog of this semester. Meet you next semester. Keep exploring until then!
