The Paradise On Earth: Jammu and Kashmir

Kashmir is known as the paradise on earth. It is also known as the Switzerland of Asia. But those who have seen Switzerland find it more beautiful. It is a land of many splendors and surprises. Its scenic beauty, fruits, and flowers; its bracing climate and soothing atmosphere; its calmness and quietness provide a healing touch to the people with rundown health and aching hearts.

Places to Visit
Vaishno Devi:- It is believed to be the tower of strength to the weak, sight to the blind, wealth to the poor and blessing the childless couple with children. The holy cave comprises three natural rock formations which are believed to be a symbol of the Mother Goddess. It is said to be the million years old cave.

Shree Ranbireshwar Temple:-It is named after its founder Maharaja Ranbir Singh. It is the biggest temple of Lord Shiva in North India. The unique feature of the temple is the fact that the main temple of Lord Shiva is situated on the first floor and a statue of Shri Ranbir Singh with folded hands is seen praying to Lord Shiva in front of the temple.

Bagh-e-Bahu:-It is a beautiful tourist destination located on the bank of Tawi River just beside the famous Bahu Fort. It is a garden which serves as a magnificent source of attraction for several tourists. It is characterized by grand lawns, gorgeous fountains, aesthetic stone sculptures and a beautiful lake.

Amar Mahal Palace Museum:-It is a palace in Jammu which has now been converted into a museum. It was built in the 19th century. It has many exhibits including a golden throne and a Pahari miniature, Kangra miniature painting, a library containing multiple antique books, many rare art collections, and a large collection of portraits of the royal family.
