The last day of thePlacement Preparedness Programme ended with a Valedictory ceremony and award distribution. Students not only shared their feedback but also presented their video resumes.
The robust programme spread across three-days gave an insight of corporate culture and cheat codes to crack the interview. The programme has made students equipped with skills for building, resume, giving interviews, group discussions, personality development and grooming. As it was the last day, the trainers also shared their life experiences with students, inspiring them.
“The three-dayPlacement Preparedness Programme has given me a basic understanding of industry insights. By being a part of activities they have planned, and by observing everything closely tied up with expertise and potential in a way where I can stand and speak confidently. The stories and life experiences that Aftab Sir and Raj Sir have definitely left us inspired and spellbound," said Sakshi Arora, third year student, Times School of Media (TSOM).
The students also presented their video resumes at the Valedictory ceremony and shared their experience from the workshop. “I got to learn how to sit in an interview, how to speak in an interview, how to groom myself, how to do everything from scratch right from presenting yourself in front of a person and I think that was amazing, I did not feel sleepy even for a little bit because it was so interactive and those little activities in between made it extra fun and more interesting,” said another student, Samriddhi Gupta, final year, TSOM.
Meanwhile, towards the end of the programme, the top performers from the last three days were presented with medals and a few were given consolation prizes towards the end. The end of the programme marks the beginning of the placement season which will soon commence on the campus ofBennett University .
