A night under the starry sky with Zaeden and Olly
The first evening of Uphoria 2019 saw DJ Olly Esse, an Italian DJ, destroy the decks with her electrifying mix of songs that filled the air with energy. The crowd couldn’t resist but jump to the beats. To engage with the enthusiastic crowd of NCR, the DJ tried conversing in Hindi and also recorded a video for the students asking them to join her at the venue and enjoy her music.

This was not the end of the night, Bennett University met Sahil Sharma, better known by his stage name Zaeden, an Indian DJ and a record producer.

The DJ left the gathering stunned with his numbers. The man who started playing at age of 14, saw the young sway to his beats and ruled the grounds of Bennett University.

Closing the night, Zaeden played one of his top hits from 2018, Uncomplicated and thanked the audience for being so spirited and zealous.

The evening was enjoyed not only by Bennett students, but also by participants from other colleges. “I am here to take part in the photography competition and for Zaeden’s performance. I love his energy and songs,” said Shray Sikka, a student of Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies.

Earlier, to kick start the evening, students of Bennett University showcased their talent from beat boxing to dancing, and the stage literally oozed talent during the cultural performances.

“I was nervous while dancing because I have never performed in front of such a big crowd but it all ended well,” said Anushi Chauhan, a first year BBA student, who performed from the dance club Verve.

The night came to an end with everyone falling back and relaxing their feet and getting ready for another power packed day.
