In an electrifying
Amity’s win over NCPE has made things extremely interesting in Pool B. With Bennett-2 and Amity both having a match in hand, this group is now set for a final showdown. All three teams of Pool B (Bennett-2, Amity and NCPE) have a chance to qualify for the semi-finals.
From the opening whistle, both teams displayed exceptional skills and tactics, but it was Amity who took the early lead with a series of quick raids and tackles. However, NCPE did not give up easily, and they fought back with determination to level the score. By half-time, Amity had a delicate lead of 2 points. “Even though they gave us a good fight, we were always in control of the game,” said Ankit Redu, a player at Amity University.
The game continued in this back-and-forth manner for most of the match, with both teams taking turns to gain the upper hand. The players of both teams displayed exceptional athleticism, strength, and strategy, leaving the spectators on the edge of their seats. Amity players put up an exceptional performance, with their raider and defender combinations working seamlessly together to secure crucial points.
Now NCPE’s fate rests upon the game between Bennett-2 and Amity. “Bennett has a strong team. I hope they give a tough fight to Amity and defeat them,” said Balram Kaushik, team NCPE. “I don’t think we will have any problem playing Bennett. It will be a one-sided match in our favour,” said Ankit Redu.
