Bennett shines at Blue Moon Take 3

The wait was finally over when the most awaited event of the University, “Blue Moon Take 3” took the excitement and fun to a whole new level. With the Bennettians showcasing their talent, the event became a huge success.

The amazing beginning
The event was a perfect blend of music, dance and comedy. It started with a soulful performance by the Spic-Macay team. The musical performances of Chinmai Kapri (Second year BBA-LLB), Akarsh Dogra (Second year BBA-LLB) and Navya Singh (Second year B.tech) mesmerised the entire crowd. The dance number by Madhav Ginoria (Second year B.tech), Saurabh Tantia (Second year BBA-LLB) and Souvik Mishra (Second year B.tech) was a hit and people couldn't bring themselves to stop hooting and cheering with excitement.

Next came a set of performances by the seniors on the effervescent theme of the event ‘Cinema’. Their performances made the entire crowd groove to the beats of retro Bollywood songs.

The ramp walk
After the seniors proved their mettle the juniors stepped in. The fashionable new members of the Bennett family turned heads with their confidence and style on the ramp. 25 couples hit the ramp first for the ‘Red Hot Freshers’ contest followed by the open ramp for the freshers. The highlight of the event was the ramp walk by the faculty of the University. The students cheered for their favourite teachers who gave equal competition to the freshers.

Mr. and Ms. Fresher
Then came the 14 finalists of the Talent Hunt competition to compete against each other for the prestigious title of Mr. and Ms. Fresher of the Blue Moon Take 3. They were judged on the basis of their walk, confidence and their ability to express their ideas through the answers they gave. After going through the entire tedious process, the University finally had its Mr. and Ms. Fresher, Siddhartha Dayani and Aira Chaudhary.

Crazy DJ night
After grazing through the various food stalls, the students prepared themselves for the DJ night. The night was brought to life by the sensational DJ Carnivore and DJ Ricky. The students went crazy over the electrifying beats of the DJ. The students were drained out of energy but they couldn't stop themselves from grooving to the amazing music.

The event surely left a permanent footprint on everyones heart. This unforgettable event would always be a part of everyones memories. The enthusiasm and participation of every student made the event even more successful.
