Bennett welcomes Sadhguru’s Youth and Truth campaign

“You can’t fire volunteers. Even if you do, their passion always brings them back. They are a very important part of every one of our events,” Sadhguru said at the first ever Youth and Truth event at Bennett University. A loud cheer came in from the volunteers. They had been briefed the previous day and had worked overnight to make sure the event was a complete success.

The students of Bennett University had been eagerly waiting for the day for weeks. And the volume of excitement was easily visible. The students were already jotting down questions to ask Sadhguru. Those were collected and stored in drop boxes at various locations in the campus. “As there are no limitations of asking questions on any topics, it will help students a lot to ask their queries. It will be a fun event for the university,” said second year student Daksh Gogia.

On the day of the event, volunteer groups were briefed early on. Special guest Mohit Chauhan arrived at around 2:45 p.m. and was ushered to the waiting lounge. Various faculty and staff members posed for photos with him. Sadhguru arrived a few moments later and was welcomed with great gusto. He met up with Mohit Chauhan, briefly before Mohit left for his performance. Sadhguru himself followed suit a few moments later.

He then proceeded to the Old Mess to address students who were watching a livestream of the event. After a brief interactive session, he played a game of Frisbee with the students outside, before his departure from the campus.
Shiva Kumar of Isha foundation said the event was a great success. He personally thanked the volunteers in a special meet after the event.

After the event was wrapped up, the opening ceremony of Uphoria 2K19 took place in the Lecture hall. Spic Macay delivered dance performances followed by a song by Navya Singh. The event was wrapped up by the Vice Chancellor, who gave a few words on the 2-day fest ahead.
