Bennett’s first Rom-Com: Love ka Overdose
The actors, Apoorva Mehta, Shriya Tyagi, Madhav Ginoria and Rachit Dubey, played their roles pretty well and the continuous confusion between them knocked the socks off the audience and the hall echoed with laughter. The play included dance performances, which completed the entertainment package. ‘Love ka Overdose’ was written and directed by third-year B Tech student, Rishi Garg, also the Secretary of the club.
The hall was jam packed with around 200 students watching the play. Audience was charmed by the play. Muskan Kriti, 2nd year student of BBA said, “The play was the perfect blend of romance and comedy. Plays like should be presented more often as it relieves us from the usual stress and gives opportunities to students to perform and explore themselves.” She further added that such activities help people in overcoming stage fear and build confidence. “I look forward to more plays like this in future.”
Core member of Ansh, Writava Banerjee, from School of Media and Liberal Arts, said, “Drama is a very powerful weapon with which we can spread a powerful message to hundreds of people with a visual aid. It is up to us that how we use it to entertain and educate people.”
