Bharat Bass Festival held at Bennett University

The university on Saturday turned out to be rock concert venue for the students as they witnessed Bharat Bass Festival , India’s first multi-genre campus music festival as a part of the very own sports fest of the university , Expedite.

This event was organised in collaboration with 9XM(popular Bollywood music channel) , 9XO(popular English music channel) and 9XM Tashan(popular Punjabi music channel) and the event was sponsored by Monster energy drink.

The event had a line-up of some of the well-known DJs which included Divya Razdan aka Seezi, Johnnie Ernest, Jagpal Singh aka Mr.Singh along with Jasbir Singh aka Rhythm and Ajay Bhateja aka Infinity live.

The event started with Seezi playing some of the popular English tracks charging the students and other attendees with energy and instilling the right mood for a concert to begin.

Johnnie Ernest who again played some of the popular English tracks along with the popular Punjabi song Tunak Tun Tun.

Infinity live who played a mix variety of tracks ranging from Hindi ones to Punjabi and also a few English tracks.

The fourth and the last performance was given by Mr.Singh and Rhythm who had again played some of the most peppy numbers in a wide variety of languages including Hindi , Punjabi , Haryanvi among others.

Even though the event went on for almost three hours, the students did dance and enjoyed the event to the core.

“The event was a good respite for the students from the sports fest and also it was well organised” said Pratima Singh, the sports officer of the university.

The event received a highly positive response from both students and organisers.

“The event was an out of the world experience and it is difficult to describe it in a few words” said Anisha Varashaney , a student of BTech first year.

“The event was completely off the charts and I had great fun dancing and chilling at the event” said Aparna Panwar , a student of MBA first year.
