Verve, the dance club, gave power packed performances on some of the catchiest Bollywood and Tollywood music. Zardicate, a two-member dance troop had everyone in awe with their dance routine.

For over weeks, the student council along with club secretaries worked day in and day out to make Blue Moon 4.0 a success. The hype for Freshers’ 2019 had begun well in advance with Bennettians, the student run social media went on ground with a Location Hunt and the Publicity team organized Six Shooter and gave away backstage passes.

The emcees, Viren Tak, a third year BAJMC student and Anirudh Tiwari, third year BBA student added sugar and spice to the evening. Their colorful words and the excitement to keep the night going kept everyone on their toes.

The cherry on the cake was the rampwalk. The first years walked to earn the title of Mr. and Miss Freshers’. With heart beats racing and hundreds of eyes glued to the stage, the 40 shortlisted from a talent show walked with grace and sophistication. From the 40, top 10 were selected who went through the question answer round.

Clearing stages and winning hearts, Shrey Tyagi of School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and Pragya Sharma of Times School of Media bagged the title of Mr. and Miss Freshers’ 2019. The two were sashed by Abhishek Dubey, Vice President Events and Bhavya Patunjal, Student Council President.

The night came to an end with the entire University grooving to the beats of DJ Carnivore and student DJs Sharbhanu Dutta and Yashwant Kotipalli, they are Btech students who perform under the name Old Munks. Their music ruled the grounds of Bennett University and every student danced till the music faded out completely from their ears.

Blue Moon 4.0 saw the old batches opening their arms and welcoming the newbies to the University with a bang. While the senior most batch danced with heavy hearts wishing for their college days to not end, the freshers embraced the beginning of a new stage of life.
