The Student Council of Bennett University welcomed freshers with a cultural extravaganza, Bluemoon 6.0, on March 12. It’s important for different university clubs to perform on this day as it helps them to showcase their talent to freshers, who could join their club later.
This time the clubs performed with a twist – all the clubs collaborated to give a single performance. The whole act was called “Bennett Trailer” as it showcased life at the University with a 40-minute show. It revolved around the journey of five students from the day they joined the university to their graduation.
Collaborative effort
Whatever fun and life lessons happen in between was showcased beautifully within the act with performances by the dramatics club Ansh, the western dance club Verve, and the traditional dance club Rivaaz. The overall narration was by done by the Cerebrum club members and was supported by the melodies of the music club, Advaita. Ansh members wrote the script for the act while Rivaaz and Verve planned the performances.
Pulse, the event club, decorated the campus, while the campus fashion club, Panache, prepared the ramp walk and Advaita rocked the stage with their music.
The BU gamers handled the technical part from lighting to DJ console and the photography club ISAC covered the whole event by clicking pictures and shooting videos.
Top-notch performances
Jhanvi Jha, a Law School fresher, said, “The performances were top-notch. This was a really nice experience for me. I am interested in dancing and looking forward to being part of Verve.”
The freshers were awestruck by this special performance, which was a result of days of practice and coordination.
