Times School Of Media welcomes Class of 2021-24

TheTimes School of Media , Bennett University , welcomed the Freshers of 2021 last week via an online orientation program conducted by the faculty members and senior students.
The three-hour long session not only provided the students a glimpse of life at Bennett, but also filled them with enthusiasm.
ProfSunil Saxena , Head of the Department (TSOM) welcomed the freshers and emphasised on how the BU curriculum was akin to a professional course and how it prepares the students to be industry-ready by the time they graduate.
“The best way to learn is the hard way and we’ll spare no efforts to make you work and learn,” he said.
Prof Saxena also highlighted how BU stresses more on practical work rather than rote learning and memorising facts and figures.
The session also contained a series of introductory videos from the faculty members as a welcome note for the freshers.
The senior batch students had organised a very interactive welcome program for the freshers with an inclusion of several quizzes, music and dance performances among many other activities.
From being The Banjaara, Toofani, Polyglot, Potterhead, Prankster, Entrepreneur, Influencer, Khel Ratna, Mr./ Ms. Hatke to being the Binge-watcher of TSOM, the freshers got an opportunity to interact and share their stories with their seniors and faculty.
The alumni of TSOM also gave the freshers a glimpse of what their life at Bennett University was and how they made the most out of their time on the campus.
The orientation session provided a perfect platform for the freshers to showcase their talents and make a remarkable first impression.
