Club Alexis continued the show after Bluemoon 6.0
By Vinayak Tripathi
Bluemoon 6.0, 2022 Freshmen party ended in the moonlight of 12th March, but For Alexis club members the show didn't end till they cleaned the entire venue at 4 in the morning. Bennett University's social service and welfare club, Club Alexis, took the task of cleaning up the N Block, which had become a mess due to littering that occurred during the freshmen party.
About 30 volunteers, including core members of Alexis, began the cleanliness drive at 4 in the morning. The work started from the M Block and proceeded to the N Block. They swept and cleaned the ground passionately, including the smeared areas where the vendors had set their stalls up.
Welfare of BU the priority
"Irrespective of the time, we work towards the ideals of our club, which is the welfare of our university," said Shubhi Tiwari, secretary of Club Alexis. "A clean environment is not just beneficial for mental health but also increases the productivity of a person."
Alexis has recently introduced its Animal welfare subsegment, BARC which is also recruiting volunteers. Soon they’ll be introducing their Mental Health subsegment, Ruhaniyat. Alexis as a club has done commendable work, keeping the campus as their priority rather than allowing tiredness and fatigue to get in their way. Volunteers will be provided with certificates for their contribution to the drive.
