Day 2 of Uphoria goes high on energy

Day 2 ofBennett University ’s annual fest Uphoria 2024 showcased the fervor of students across Delhi NCR . From fashion and talent shows to a full stage musical performance, the air was electrified with a youthful energy.

Mr and Ms Uphoria: The prowess of students
The highlight of Day 2 was Mr and Ms Uphoria, thetalent show where students presented their knowledge and talents in various walks of life, showing skills and adaptability to the judges for a chance to win the respective titles. The winners, Kavya Sindhi from Bennett University and Saransh Rastogi from Motilal Nehru College were thrilled, “Winning Ms Uphoria makes me ecstatic, this is definitely the highlight of my college life at Bennett,” Sindhi said.
A plethora of competitions and events
Many key events were held on the second day, from Fitoor, the stage play to Rockmania, the battle of the bands.
Fitoor, the stage play competition was judged by actor, theater artist and CEO of Felicity Theatre,Rahull Bhuchar . “I just love the new ideas your generation can come up with, I could never come up with such complex characters and narratives and I just love watching these live on stage,” he said while giving feedback to the contestants.
Vidhushi Mehra , actor, stage producer and coach judged the mono acting event ‘Abinay’, “The students have such amazing talent, their unbridled creativity mixed with their crazy energy made for amazing performances, it’ll be hard to judge who wins,” said Mehra whilst talking about her experience as a judge.
Sarannya Sharrma , a finalist of LIVA Miss Diva 2023 was invited to judge Supernova, the fashion show, “The bravery these students exert is so amazing, I loved all the outfits and walks of the students and see their potential as future models or artists in fashion,” Sharrma said.
The teams and individuals from universities around NCR showcased their talents and passion in various arts and performances making for a truly moving and invigorating day to a fest aptly themed Band Baaja Baaraat.

Masle-e-Musical: The collaboration of performers
The highlight student performance was the collaboration of three student clubs to bring to the stage 'Masle-e-Mohabbat', the musical play. The play enacted stories of dramatic family scenes along with classical and modern songs, with elements of humor, dark themes and quirky dances.
The themes while often serious were delivered with such style that the audience couldn’t help but laugh, by the end of the play the stage received resounding love from the audience for the show. Band Baaja DJ Night
The DJ Mr Professor’s beats brought life to the night and had the students jumping till midnight with revitalized tunes of old classics as well as new twists to recent jams, “The energy tonight was so crazy, I’ve performed at so many venues but Bennett’s students were unmatched,” Mr Professor said.
The night was full of hype till the end of Day 2 of the festivities with a fitting energy leading to Day 3 of the annual fest.
