The Office of International Relations and Corporate Outreach ofBennett University has proven its commitment towards global education by announcing BAJMC student Amairah Chaand Dhupar ’s acceptance as an exchange student at Ca’ Foscari University, Venice.
Dhupar’s Italian odyssey traces its roots back to last year when shamanic anthropologist Prof.Stefano Beggiora from Ca’ Foscari University’s Department of Asian and African Studies visited Bennett University as part of his India tour. In addition to addressing the student cohort of the BA JMC programme, he also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Times School of Media that enabled this semester abroad exchange programme.
For Dhupar, this initiative has been a reward, providing her invaluable international exposure. Beside education, she is set to immerse herself in the richness of Venice – its history, art and tranquility.
“The environment of study inevitably influences education. Therefore, you must try to gain at least one international education experience in your formative years,” said Prof. (Dr.)Abhay Bansal , who heads the Office of International Relations and Corporate Outreach in the capacity of its Dean . “Our MoU with Ca’ Foscari is just the tip of the iceberg. There are more opportunities to explore this semester for students from all schools at Bennett University, be it the School of Law or the School of Management,” he added.
