By: Radhika Gupta and Vivikta Negi
Bennet University in a collaboration program with cosmetic and hair care brandGarnier organised an event on the 19th and 20th of February. As a part of the initiative a Garnier Green Science School booth was set up in the university grounds itself.
Various stalls were set up in the booth like a green science lab where some Garnier volunteers explained about the science behind their skincare products through fun scientific experiments as well ahair colour zone where girls could get their hair coloured using different Garnier dyes for free. One such stall was set-up specially for trying and testing of skincare products like face cleaners and serums both for men and women.
“Through Garnier Science School event we aim to launch Garnier’s new collection of products. These are all sulphate and paraben free making them naturally skin friendly. Students present here can buy these products directly through the Purplle app” said Hansika, a Garnier volunteer working at the event.
Students of Bennett registered and then showed up in large numbers to participate in the Garnier Green School event. “This was a fun initiative where there were games and also an opportunity to test and check the products of Garnier. I personally loved their serum as it made my skin glow and also loved trying different hair colours with my friends” said Shwetangi Jhunjhunwala, a first year Journalism student at Bennett.
