Day two of Sportikon witnessed a thrilling quarter finals with 5 cricket matches, showcasing outstanding performances and nail-biting moments. Here's a recap of the matches.

Match One- Amity Global University vs St. Xavier's University
Xavier's captain, Jitendra Rathore, made a strategic decision by winning the toss and choosing to bowl. This choice proved fruitful as Xavier's secured a convincing victory by 7 wickets. Yash Purohit emerged as the MVP, showcasing his exceptional skills.

Match Two- Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies vs Sri Venkateswara College
Sri Venkateswara, after winning the toss and opting to bowl, dominated the match, winning by 9 wickets. Aansh Kashyap's stellar performance earned him the MVP title. The captain of Sri Venkateswara, remarked, "We had a great experience and the ground was great, we’re looking forward to the semi-finals."

Match Three- Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology vs OP Jindal Global University
OP Jindal, led by their captain Anuj Kumar, chose to bowl after winning the toss. The decision proved successful, securing an 8-wicket victory. Kartik Shoukeen's outstanding performance earned him the MVP title. BPIT captain Utsav Rana commented, "It was a tough day for us, but we'll analyze our mistakes and bounce back stronger in the upcoming matches."

Match Four- Manipal University vs Bennett University
Manipal chose to bat after winning the toss and went on to win by 35 runs. Manay Kataria's exceptional performance earned him the MVP title. Tushay Rajveer, captain of Manipal, expressed, "Our team put up a great effort, and we're pleased with the result. We'll continue working hard for the remaining matches."

Match Five- St. Xavier's University vs Jaypee Institute of Information Technology
Xavier's, batting first after winning the toss, secured a 19-run victory against Jaypee. Divyanshu Gaur's remarkable performance earned him the MVP title, "Being the MVP during the quarter finals only motivates me to outperform myself in the upcoming matches, Sportikon is going great for us," Gaur said.

In summary, day two of Sportikon showcased intense cricket battles, highlighting the talent and competitive spirit of the participating teams. Each match provided spectators with memorable moments, setting the stage for an exciting semi-finals.
