Greater Noida:
In response to a question by a Bennet University student, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu, Miss Universe 2021, said that believing in herself and not just depending on destiny or God was the success mantra of her winning the Miss Universe 2021 title. Sandhu was on Bennett University campus in Greater Noida today late afternoon to meet with the students.
Shining bright in yellow blazer and matching trousers, Sandhu set the tone of the session by cheering out loud the Punjabi phrase ‘Chakk De Phatte’. Sandhu also talked about how one should strive hard and never give up believing in themselves to fulfill their desires.
Harnaaz's inspiring journey
From being a shy and an introvert girl, to being crowned as Miss Universe 2021, Sandhu’s journey has been an inspiring one. Thus, the students were keen on taking tips from the role model herself.
“Beauty is all about how you think, represent yourself and how you behave with other individuals across all spheres of the society,” responded Sandhu when asked about the definition of beauty.
The Q&A session at Bennett reminded Sandhu of her Miss Universe contest. “While answering the questions of the budding minds at Bennett University, I relived my journey of Miss Universe, once again,” said Sandhu.
'Miss Universe is an empowering & motivating journey'
The Miss Universe Pageant is all about empowering women and motivating them to celebrate themselves and break the stigmas in the modern world, Sandhu added.
Accompanying Sandhu at Bennett University were Dr. Prabhu Kumar Aggarwal, Vice Chancellor, Bennett University and Sudhanshu Verma, Chief Operating Officer, Bennett University along with Esther Swan, Director of Talent Development at Miss Universe Organisation, Natasha Grover, Brand and Operations Head at Miss India Organisation.
