According to Nayar if you can manipulate the minds of people in your organization then you can inspire them, motivate them and get them to perform at levels never seen before. He briefly explained that people today don’t just want to be managed, they want to be inspired and led.
“Future belongs to the organizations which produce more innovation per unit of human intellect,” said Nayar.
Technology and leadership go hand in hand
Raj Jain had a slightly different take on the issue. He believed that technology is crucial, but it needs proper channelizing to be more effective and productive.
According to Jain technology and leadership go hand in hand to survive the change. Managing the rapid pace of change is the most important thing for HR to help an organisation move from its comfort zone to the next layer of performance.
“Technology on its own has never made a difference, leadership on its own has never made a difference but together they create real magic for a sustainable world,” quoted Jain.
The conference brought the employers and the future employees on the same page and provided them a common ground for discussion.
