Keen Kickers crush Heroic Hearts at BCL Finals

Responding to the 134 runs with 10 wickets in 14.3 overs by Heroic Heats A, Karan Tewatia-led side, Keen Kickers A, came back with a score of 138 in 8.3 overs. Batsmen Karan Tewatia, also the Captain of Keen Kickers A, and Vishesh Redhu scored 72 and 54 runs respectively, to bring the downfall of
Vishesh Redhu, batsmen-fielder of Keen Kickers said, “The match was intense especially in the first half when the target was increasing but nonetheless our captain did us proud and played really well.”
The tournament came to an end and the scoreboard favoured the Keen Kickers A. The felicitation was done by the BU Sports Officer Pratima Singh. Heroic Hearts A won the runners-up trophy in the tournament.
First Innings
Opting to bat, Heroic Hearts A put up a total of 134/10 thanks to batsman Rithik Antham’s 79 and Hazeez’s 17. Opening with Tanmay Sharma and Abhishek Dubey to bat, Prateek Rai, captain of Heroic Hearts said, “It was a great match. We are here to win. My players are pumped up and focusing hard on maintaining a lead on the runs.”
Rithik Antham gave six fours and seven sixes. He was encouraged by the crowd to finally complete his dream of a century. The crowd’s enthusiasm was constantly growing before the second innings started.
Speaking on how the match went, BU Sports Officer Pratima Singh said, “The tournament kicked off quite well where eight teams participated and today Keen Kickers A outshined every one of them. This is the second league and the teams gear up to play. I encourage the players to play with passion and enjoy alongside.”
