Multicultural new year gala at BU
The grand multi-cultural event was made possible by
Akhil Kumar, secretary of Verve, said, “We had been planning to organise a traditional day for a long time to bring together the cultural diversity of our University.”
The preparations for the event began two weeks ago with planning for the decoration to getting the dance routines right. The two clubs worked hard to make it a successful event.
To add to the fun, the club organised two games, coke pong and seven stones, more popularly known as satholiya or pitthu in
“It’s always a pleasure to perform in front of our University crowd. They are so encouraging and enthusiastic,” said Dhriti Gaur, a member of Spic Macay and Verve.
The foodies of the University tucked in at the Pani Puri and popcorn stalls.
The evening came to a close with everyone dancing to the beats of the DJ.
