‘Murder mystery’ solved on Day 2 of Uphoria 3.0

Excitement and energy levels rose on the campus on Day 2 of Uphoria 3.0.

Passion for cultural events was writ large on the faces of Bennettians who organized and participated in various events on second day of the fest.

“Days when cultural events are held are the best days of a student’s life, be it in school or college,” said Ada Kohli, a first-year BAJMC student.

The more, the merrier!

The second day started by solving a murder mystery.

It was tough for participants, as Alexis, the organizing club planned the event well.

Investigations gripped the second day as mock CID event continued overnight.

A total of 30 teams participated on the first day and out of those only five teams were qualified for the next round.

They were selected based on their physical capability.

Murder Mystery was all about a mixture of physical and mental strength and students had to solve the mystery by collecting clues.

“We were preparing for the mystery for the past week we had put in a lot of hard work for this. Participants seem excited and it makes us really happy,” said Mayank Tripathy, secretary of Alexis.

Pulse, the gaming society of BU, organized an event called ‘Snapathon’ where the students had to participate in teams and use their creativity to perform various tasks.

Each student was assigned a particular task where they used snapchat filters to make it interesting.

Several teams were seen doing crazy things and it lightened the atmosphere by bringing a smile on all faces.

Some events also required participants to show their skills.

War of Words, Club Cerebrum’s debate competition was one such event.

“Its always amazing to compete in an event like this where you can debate on lot of different topics. Its make you more inquisitive.” Said Sushmita Ram Kumar, LLB 1st Year.

Nukkad Natak was conducted by the drama society, Ansh.
Students from different colleges came and participated in the event.

Students from colleges in Greater Noida and Delhi University were seen performing in Uphoria events.

They talked about major issues like drinking, acid attack and right to vote.
