TheMusic Committee of Bennett University Advaita Club organized a musical evening Shaam-E-Sangeet 2.0 on May 5, 2022, for the students to shed the stress before the end-term exams scheduled to start later in the month.
The event started in the evening and lasted till midnight. The members of theMusic Committee worked hard to decorate the stage at the N-Block ground and organized a soulful night of Indian classical/ semi-classical and Sufi songs.
The event started with a power packed performance with two students from B. Tech Computer Science Engineering school rendering a song by Bollywood singer KK. It was followed by many other soulful Bollywood and semi-classical songs till midnight.
The final year students at the University were quite excited about the event as this was their last cultural event before leaving the campus. Shalinee Mishra of BA (JMC) third year said, “For students like us who are leaving in a few days, this is the last memory of a college cultural fest. I appreciate the effort of the cultural society for organizing this event.”
