The competition- Patriotic Palette is a part of a larger series of events organized under the name ‘Humara Uttar Pradesh’. This includes a weeklong of competitions, bonfire events, and plantation drive so that the students can showcase their talents, have fun and relax during the chilly weather.

“We live in the modern era where the traditional painting and conventional designing are decreasing while online designing is trending, therefore this online poster competition was organized by us for the students," said Jahnavi Rana the 20-year-old vice president of Media and Innovations group in the student council at Bennett University. One of the objectives of the event was also to help students inculcate a new skill set and the best 3 posters will be selected in the council’s design team. "We will be judging the entries based on creativity, originality and the kind of software they use to make the posters on the given themes,” added Jahnavi .

Online registration forms were shared where the students were expected to submit their entries latest by 24th January 2023. The posters were to be made either on the topic of the Republic Day of India or Humara Uttar Pradesh. Screenshots of the creative process were also to be shared with the council and would be a part of the judgement. The winners will be announced on Republic Day and would be awarded with gift vouchers up to Rs.5000.
