Sadhguru’s visit sparks excitement on the campus
The Bennett University is abuzz with excitement as Sadhguru arrives on February 7, 2019 to hold an interactive session with students.

A core team of 11 students has been preparing for the event for the last four weeks with the help of members from the Isha Foundation. The event is part of the campaign, “Youth and Truth, Unplugged with Sadhguru”, launched in year 2018.

Sadhguru, through this campaign has been answering unconventional questions and clearing doubts in the young minds.

“It is a cumbersome task to convince people to ask questions that they feel is a taboo. I had to hit the right cord with messages that will be circulated for people to ask their questions without hesitation,” says Soham Pramanick, third year mass BTech student.

A vox pop video has been created to sustain the buzz on campus along with posters and standees put up on various locations of the University. “I made sure that the hype of the event till the D-day did not die down and hence sent out messages with videos of Sadhguru answering some questions,” added Soham.

With the increased razzmatazz, 40 students volunteered to help with the organisation of the event. The volunteers have been divided into teams like ushering, security, seating, registration etc.

The event will be an intimate session. As many as 650 students have registered for the event and close to 1000 questions have been submitted by them.

A questions team has been set up to segregate and filter questions that the Sadhguru will answer. Along with the questions that can be entered on the registration form the student core team has also placed ballot boxes for anonymous questions to make the students feel comfortable while asking their questions. “We have so many questions that it has become difficult to segregate the best ones,” said Shaurya Solanki, second year BBA student.

“Looking at the excitement and atmosphere, I think that the event will be a huge success and we also have support from the Isha team,” said Prateek Soni, third year BTech student and student president.

The event will comprise not only of an interactive session with the students but also indulge Sadhguru in some off-beat activities.
