Challenging the misunderstood feminism

Challenging the misunderstood feminism
By Mansi Yadav

Contrary to popular belief in today's world, Feminism actually promotes equality between both the genders. Technically, equality here means providing equal opportunities and platforms to discuss their respective issues. Feminism is equally important for both the genders because it's not a women-centric movement rather it also gives men the platform to be vocal about the issues they face and break the stereotypes surrounding men. If the male gender of the society starts spreading hatred towards the movement, it would be a huge loss on their part as well. Through this movement, they can grow and embrace their true selves and not as per the notions formed by the society.
