The act of public display action

By Mouli Mehta
A public display of affection is an act that expresses vocally or physically how much someone cares for another person. When it comes to the subject of expressing my love for those I care about, I often find myself at a loss for words. I begin to wonder: If the improvements that have been made to other aspects are acceptable, then why not "PDA"? If love is an acceptable act, then why do we need to impose limitations on how we can do so? Although we cannot deny that there are instances where couples go beyond the definition of PDA, which may result in something that is either against public policy or may have certain negative consequences when it comes to maintaining social ethics, morality, and decency in the society, there must be a clear distinction made between what is obscene and what is not. Actions such as Holding hands of your partner in Public.Hugging your partner in public, If kissing is done as a means of greeting your partner, Expressing your love for your partner verbally, Putting your arms around your partner’s arms, doesn't even qualify as a pda, and those who engage in such behaviour are frequently called out and warned not to do so in public despite having no authority to do so. The essential element of the public annoyance must be proven in order to classify a conduct as an obscene conduct, which is criminal under Section 294 of the IPC. Public displays of affection might range from a gentle handshake to a tender kiss.
