A musical evening at Bennett
In order to break the monotony of a usual boring evening at Bennett University, music club ‘Advaita’ planned a musical flash mob. It featured the singers as well as the guitarists of the club coming together to perform for the students.

The event started with three people singing ‘Ye shaammastani’ and other performers joined one after another. The performers had the undivided attention of the audience as everyone turned their heads as the performance began in the mess.

Star performers
While Arnav Singh Chauhan and Aakarsh Dogra played guitar, Sharbhanu Dutta assisted with the cajon (slap box).

The choir who in their powerful yet melodious voice mesmerized the audience consisted of Aditi Giri, Anrab Bose, Aditi Bose, Shivam Shukla, Atisha Gupta, Lakshay Sharma, Muskan Kriti, Aniruddh Tewari, Abhinandan, ChinmaiKapri and Shaurya Solanki.

As songs were sung one after another, people from the audience started humming the songs and showed their support.

Songs of varied genres were sung by the choir, such as Aajkaltere mere pyaarkecharche, Sooraj doobahaiyaron, Teri merikahani and many more. A total number of 15 songs were sung melodiously by the performers.

The performers got a huge round of applause from the audience which was clear indicator of how much they actually liked the performance.

“We practiced really hard for this event and I was really overwhelmed to see such an amazing response from the crowd,” said Aditi Bose who was a part of the choir.

“We plan to do more such events after seeing such support from the audience. The event has just ended, people are already coming up to me and appreciating my performance,” said Arnav Singh Chauhan who was the guitarist for the evening.
