Ashoka serves up stunning win to clinch Tennis gold

In a display of exceptional skill and sportsmanship, Ashoka University clinched the gold medal in the finals of the tennis tournament at Bennett University’s sports fest Sportikon, leaving the audience on the edge of their seats. Despite a valiant effort by Shiv Nadar University’s team 2, Ashoka's players dominated the game with impressive shots and teamwork, securing an easy win.

The final was a battle of the previous day's semi-final winners, with Ashoka University taking on SNU 2. The match kicked off with a fiery singles set between Ashoka's Sarthak Gandhi and SNU 2's Raghvendra Singh. The crowd was left spellbound as Sarthak's impressive shots left Raghvendra struggling to keep up, resulting in a relaxed 6-0 victory for Ashoka.

As the doubles set began, the audience knew they were in for a treat. Sarthak returned to the court, this time teaming up with Pranav Koka. The duo didn't disappoint, displaying incredible teamwork and coordination, resulting in a dominant 6-1 victory.

Though the scoreboard may not have reflected it, SNU 2 displayed an unwavering fighting spirit and indomitable will throughout the match. Nevertheless, Ashoka rose to the occasion and clinched the victory, cementing their place as the champions of the match.
