Bennett sends Sportikon off with an Award Ceremony

The 4-day sports fest,Sportikon at Bennett University comes to an end with the closing ceremony.
Theuniversity played home to 30+ colleges across 16 different sports over the span of 4 days. More than 50 players were felicitated with their well-deserved awards for their chosen sport. After four days of constant toil and sweat, the players returned happy from the felicitation ceremony.
The sports fest atBennett came with various opportunities and opened new doors for Bennettians to pan India universities for their upcoming competitions.
Not only did the University organize sports events, but various small efforts were also made to makeSportikon as memorable and pleasant as possible, like the IPL match screening, the fairy light set up and the various food stalls set up in the University.
The highlight of Sportikon was the inauguration done by the Indian Kabbadi team playerPardeep Narwal and the night was full of colors with DJ Sumit Sethi making the students groove to his beats. These serve as the core memory for many Bennettians along with players from the participating universities.
Even though we were tense about the matches, these four days were a great stress buster for us, especially the DJ Night, we also made good friends here at Bennett said Vanshika a player from NIT Jallandhar.
Clearly, everyone pulled through to make Sportikon a success story and bring smiles to everyone’s faces. “It took a lot of hard work and sleepless nights to pull this through but I’m glad we did and, I helped to make Sportikon as grand as it was” Yash Jaiswal, one of the lead organizers of Sportikon.
With this year’s Sportikon, Bennett University and theSports Committee of the university have set a benchmark for universities across the country that participated, have left an indelible mark in the minds of the participants, and have given themselves a legacy of the true sporting spirit.
