In the event organized by the university's literary club Cerebrum, young writers from Bennett got an opportunity to brainstorm and exchange ideas at the first Writers Meet BYOB, short for Bring Your Own Bestseller.

The event began with a round of introductions wherein the organizers asked the participants why they started writing, while also sharing their own stories.

One of the organizers, Rupanshi of BAJMC 2nd year, said, "Our main aim to establish a writing department amongst the students was to provide them with a platform share their work. The platform existed before as well, but it wasn't well known, especially to the current 1st year students."

The conversation then moved to how writers possess a different perspective of the world from any other person. While any other person may not think much about something that has taken place, a writer finds something new to write about. Speaking about the same, Arushi of 1st year BBA said, "Whenever I fight with someone, or anything of the sort happens, I vent through my writing. I write whatever comes to mind and I feel so much better."

The final part of the event was where everyone presented a piece of their work one by one. The meet concluded by the organizers asking the participants what they would like to talk in the future meetups and their expectations from the club.
