Despite the winter chill, students and staff of Bennett University gathered together on the campus to celebrate the 71st Republic Day on Sunday. The ceremony began with Vice-Chancellor Raghunath K Shivgaonkar hoisting the national flag.

The Music Society of the University, Advaita, presented a rendition of the National Anthem, which was followed by the other solo and instrumental performances.
After the lively performances, Advaita pulled a new rabbit from their hat, introducing the Musical Parade with the Security staff of the University. "It was just amazing to see the efforts of the security guards of our university participating in the parade. Their dedication is truly worth recognition and appreciation, said Abhay Raghuvanshi, BBA 2nd Year student on the parade.

As the ceremony came to an end, Prof. Shivgaonkar addressed the students, explaining the significance and true relevance of the Constitution. He said, "We got the right constitution, we got the right ethos, we got the right value system in our country and that's what made the difference, and today where we stand, India is one of the top five or six countries in the world, which can claim as technologically superior countries, that credit goes to the people who framed this constitution for us." He also advised the students as the future of the country to keep their ethos and direction in the right path.

After the Speech, the sweets were distributed among the students and the staff members.
