Standing tall with a strength of 45 representatives, the Bennett University Student Council was officially bestowed with their tokens of charge at the Badging Ceremony this Friday, September 1, 2023.

The official student body at Bennett University, the BU Student Council comprises students from across various schools and batches, providing for diversity in representation and thought. Constituted after several rounds of interviews and with the intent of creating an enterprising university community, the body is tasked as being a channel of effective communication between the university administration and the student community, whose interests they stand to represent.

Guided by their mission statement, “Of the students, by the students, and for the students”, the members were already seen fulfilling their duties for an entire week before the investiture ceremony – from helping the incoming freshmen at the registration desk, to organizing various cultural events in the freshers’ week. It was thus, a proud moment for them to be collecting their badges as a mark of their work’s acknowledgement.
