Dessert decor workshop sweetens the day for students

The workshop engaged the students in a skill-filled lesson on how to decorate cupcakes, cakes and pastries. The workshop started with a demo on how to mix and use whipped cream and ganache to make the cake sponge look even more presentable and delectable. Around 200 students from across various courses participated in this workshop.
“The experience was great as I have been baking for a long time. This workshop gave me an opportunity to also try my hands on the decorating side of the pastry. When I received the mail regarding this I knew I wanted to attend this for sure,” Aishwarya, BBA 2nd year student, said.
Food with an urge to experiment remained a major factor to attract various students to visit the mess and gave rise to the creative bakers in them. "I Like the idea of decorating and trying out new flavors while experimenting with the looks of pastries,” Shrey, a BTech 2nd year student, said.
With the idea to curb the hectic schedules and work filled days, this workshop seemed like a great idea for all.
“I participated in this workshop because this seemed an out of the box idea, how this wasn’t related to studies and it has helped to relieve stress,” Pratyush, a BTech CSE 2nd year student, said.
Students attended and left the workshop with huge satisfactory smiles on their faces and were all praises for the workshop. Even the host -
