Diwali Carnival at Bennett

Team Jayanti walked away with the First Prize inRangoli Competition on the occasion of Diwali at Bennett University .
On 24th Oct,2019, the HR team ofBennett University organised a Diwali Carnival for all the faculties within the campus.
The event was full of fun which included competitions likeRangoli Making, Cabin Decoration, Candles Lighting Competition, and of course the Dress Competition for both male and female faculties.
All the faculty members were asked to wear Indian /Ethnic on the day of fest.
The event was followed by the Diwali Buffet (live food counters) between the A and B block of the campus.
Staff members enjoyed the mouth watering snacks like Pav Bhaji, Gol Gappe, Aloo Tikki, Pasta, Jalebi, etc.

Following are the results of the competitions held on the event day:
Rangoli Making Competition
1st Position : Team Jayanti (Jayanti, Pratima, Priya, Amrit)
2nd Position : Team Shailendra (Shailendra, Ambika, Kalpana, Swati)
Cabin Decoration Competition
1st Position : Miss Jayanti
2nd Position : Miss Ambika

Candles Lighting Competition
1st Position : Miss Pallavi
2nd Position : Mr Deepak Kumar

Dress Competition:
Best Dressed Female
1st Position : Miss Alka
2nd Position : Miss Gehna
Best Dressed Male
1st Position : Mr Tarun Sharma
2nd Position : Mr Sandeep Kohli

The teachers showcased their talent and it was a pleasure event for both the staff members and also for the students to see such beautiful work by their teachers, may it be eye-catching rangolis or decorating their cabins like their own homes. All the staff members dressed so beautifully and were looking so graceful in the Indian attire. Also, on being asked from most of the faculties about the event, they said, it was super fun to be a part of the Diwali event like this and we enjoyed a lot and also the food was amazing.
