Neon lights and DNA Music wrap Sportikon Day-3

The third day of SportIkon wrapped up with a Neon DJ Night.

To keep the pulse kicking and to offer leisure, on the third night of Sportikon, a neon DJ Night was organised. The line-up of entertainers included DJ Knight and DNA Music. Bennett University's very own music club, Advaita, also took to the stage to get the crowd hyped up for the guest performers.

With quite a few sports having wrapped up their closing ceremony, the masses thronged to the N-Block ground. Security was also heightened to ensure order and cater to any emergency. From 7:00 in the evening to 11:00 in the night, it was entertainment all through with 3 performers, each with unique musicality.

Advaita's musicians and vocalists serenaded the audience with Bollywood old hits, DJ Knight brought the energy up with Punjabi Pop and DNA Music got everyone popping to EDM.

"It is such an honour for us to take the stage before the DJs and draw crowds. It's like opening the concert for a big act. Hopefully Bennettians and sportspersons from competing colleges don't forgot our performance," quipped Prafull Tripathi, Advaita's Secretary and also the lead guitarist.

If music drew attention, so did the neon glow-in-the-dark bands call attention. It wouldn't be wrong to say the bands were an attraction in their own right - students were decked from head to toe, making multiple multi-coloured accessories of their own.

"I was among the last of the students to lay hands on these neon bands - they were deplete as soon as the distribution started. Now that I've secured my very own, I can enjoy the acts carefree," said Vinay Rawal, a student as his group of friends engaged in a round of photographs.

Truly, Sportikon at Bennett on Day-3 was bejewelled.
