Without losing a single match in the entirety of the Sportikon fest, Amity University won the final match as well against the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) by 43 runs on day 4 of the sports fest. Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Amity made a total score of 159, losing 5 wickets in 20 overs, with Himanshu Bachkheti, the player of the match for the previous game against Bennett University scoring another half-century.

The second innings saw UPES score 116 runs, losing all their wickets in the third ball of the last over. Jyotish of Amity University took a total of 5 wickets in 3 overs, making him the player of the match for the finals. “Our gameplay so far has been really good, and we strive to make it even better for our upcoming matches, Sportikon is just the beginning” said Aviral Tyagi, a bowler for the Amity team after their victory celebration.

The Amity team was ecstatic with their victory, having put in a superb all-round performance to clinch the championship title. UPES, on the other hand, was disappointed but can hold their heads high for having made it to the finals and putting up a tough fight against a strong opponent.
