Rescon 2.0, the research conclave organized by the Bennett Undergraduate Research Society (BURS), concluded its second day on a high note, with an impressive line-up of speakers, workshops, and panel discussions. The day started with a thought-provoking opening ceremony, graced by the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Vivek Kumar, Chairperson, CSSS, as the chief guest.

In his keynote address, Prof. Kumar emphasized the importance of research and the need for students to be good researchers in order to contribute to a better society. He stated that "observed reality is not exact reality", which highlights the importance of being meticulous with data and systemizing it. He further added, "Research is not a solitary pursuit; it is a collaborative effort, and it requires a willingness to learn and unlearn."

The next speaker, Mr. Vivek Atray, ex-IAS and TedX speaker had a session on "Elevating Communication with Emotional Intelligence." Mr. Atray talked about the unpredictability of human beings and situations and the importance of having humility. He explained the 7 C's of Life that are essential for emotional quotient - Courage, Compassion, Character, Creativity, Calmness, Cheerfulness, Communication, and Contentment. The workshop covered the basics of biotechnology, including presentations on Bioinformatics, Nanotechnology, Genetic Engineering and Antimicrobial Resistance. The workshop was informative and gave the students a better understanding of the field.

The BAJMC workshop, "Copycraft: Mastering the art of Copywriting" by Abhishek PD., the Creative Senior Director for Digitas, was a highly anticipated session. Mr. PD showed students various advertisements and explained how stories are displayed through these ads. He emphasized that "people are content, and we are all ads, we are all stories". He further added, "I'm here to help you make the industry work for you, instead of you working for the industry. I work in advertising, but I don't live in it." His quote left a lasting impression on the students, inspiring them to think creatively and beyond conventional boundaries.

Several panel discussions and round table conferences were organized for law, liberal arts, and B.Tech CSE students, providing a platform for students to engage with industry experts and peers. The discussions focused on emerging topics like Artificial Intelligence and Constitutional Validity of CAA, along with challenges and opportunities in their respective fields.
