By Diksha Arora When i think of red , the first thing that crosses everyone’s mind is the beautiful colour that symbolises love and pain as well, Although love has some of the pain in it itself too. It also symbolises destruction as the red being the colour of blood but blood also represents life, without it we couldn’t survive. Today i can write about how red is a violent colour and reminds me of the life which were lost either unknowingly in accidents or knowingly in war. The sacrifices made by them are forever embedded in our hearts but today i want to focus more on life. Evolving and growing. Red is a colour of birth, a birth of a new soldier, doctor, artist, a Birth of a new little citizen, all set to fight in this world. Red is a colour of braveness, to fight for the people you love, for the country you live in and sometimes for absolute strangers. That reminds me of the heroes we have in our world, red represents them too, the doctors saving people they have never seen in their entire life, and also helping with a new life, a part of the smooth transition in the cycle of life. Not to forget heroes on our borders, again saving lives in a different way. If we look closely, All of the things mentioned above that the colour red represents in most times combined. The braveness of doctors and soldiers , the sacrifices made by even them and the love displayed by them as well. I think red represents alot of things, alot of feelings, all put together sometimes too. Most people, whenever think of red think about either love or destruction but i think whenever we think of red, we should keep the sacrificed heroes in our hearts and think about the present heroes fighting for the sake of our lives.

And you end up scratching your head because you get confused thinking is Risotto a part of Italian cuisine or Mexican? Don’t worry, I got you! 1) Italian cuisine: It is known for its simple yet flavorful dishes. A lot of fresh ingredients are used, and it varies from region to region. The most famous dishes include pizza, pasta , risotto and gelato. Pizza is a flat bread that is topped with tomato sauce, cheese, a variety of vegetables and herbs. Pasta is another staple of Italian cuisine and there are countless varieties of pasta such as Spaghetti carbonara, lasagna and fettucine alfredo. Risotto is a creamy rice dish which is mostly served as the main course dish. Minestrone soup and Tiramisu dessert are another popular dishes. 2) Chinese: It is known for its unique flavors and cooking techniques that again vary from region to region. It can be regionally categorized into eight styles like Sichuan cuisine, Cantonese cuisine, Shandong, Fujian , Hunan and Anhui. The entrance was covered with men in camouflage uniforms with huge guns in their hands, the security was tight. Inside there, the street was filled with expensive designers showrooms and boutiques. One of them was, San Cha Tea Boutique . All White and with soothing tea scented fragrance. The entire street looked unreal. It was a lavish place. The whole theme was white and green. The aesthetic of cool coloured flowers with wooden baskets and bamboo chairs with a window from which sun rays hit my face directly. I saw a peacock there, standing on top of one of the low built shops. I could see it’s silhouette in front of the sky and i clicked its pictures as it posed for me. The wood was all italian. And the paths were covered with huge coconut trees and bushes and tree trunks as the chair. I spent my day observing the beauty of the place, it was so beautifully built that everyone around me couldn’t stop capturing it on there mobiles. I couldn’t either. But aside from the mobiles, I captured it from my eyes too, from the 3 white pillars going all around my head covering it as enough to the dog with black fur and white dots sitting outside the cafe. And the cute little pond, that was white too. It looked like how you would imagine a paradise.

By Diksha Arora My first time watching a play, i have always been intrigued by theatre but somehow still did not watch even a single play, i have practiced for plays and was almost about to perform my first play but never had watched it. Me and my brother have always been very enthusiastic about all sorts of art forms and theatre was one of them. I went there more for homework, to understand and observe their act. The place is called alliance francaise. The place was definitely not how I thought it’d be. It had an architecture and structure definitely not of India’s, but didn’t shock me as the name suggests. It was a low level building and a small auditorium. The whole building was pure white as if it was just painted. Outside was a small area where the tickets were being sold. The trees and its leaves decorated the whole area outside. The play was quite extraordinary experience, it was a comedy play, and i interacted with a few people as well, it’s not a usual thing for me to meet people who are as enthusiastic about things like these as me. Since i’m from a generation that prefers things through screen, i like to experience and capture from my eyes more. After the play, as the evening set. There were a few monkeys which caught all of are eyes. They were playing amongst themselves, but still somehow their natural doings were like another show for all of us, we all smiled our way through it, well not all of us smiled since quite a few were scared too. Alliance francaise is actually a school for the language french, and right beneath it, in the auditorium was a classic hindi history comic play. After the play we explored the streets of Lodhi Garden . It was a posh area surely the way it looked. I could hear birds chirping even in the evenings and i saw the red fire hydrant in the middle of the foot path which is quite rare in west delhi side. In here it was quiet, so quiet it felt empty, like the whole world had slept. I’m not used to this as i have grown up in a area where everyone is in a rush and somehow it seemed lively. The dark grey empty streets with an expensive car crossing with such a speed, it almost looked like an aesthetic instagram filter. But this silence was good too for a change.

Sleeping so peacefully, The huge parliament houses and the white buildings of CP made them even more prettier in the morning, as the crowd wasn’t there, i could appreciate and look at them more carefully. As i walker further i saw the tall flag of our country, standing so high and proud, hit with the strong wind, standing strong and firm. Behind the flag was the sun, peeping through the corner. The sun added even more beauty to the flag. In between all of that i passed a church as well. I’m not a christian but i felt a sense of peace and different vibe there. My short trip there was amazing, i have been to CP so many times now but it was the most beautiful today, i wish i could see this side of it more often, the peace and grace it brought unknowingly portrays the real essence of Delhi for me.

दी केरला स्टोरी ये किसी मुस्लिम धर्म के ऊपर नहीं है, इसमें क्या सही है या क्या गलत ये हम जैसे दर्शक कभी पता नहीं लगा सकते है. पर ये फिल्म आपको सोचने पर मजबूर कर सकता है, कुछ समय पहले किसी फिल्मी हस्ती में हिम्मत नहीं थी कि वो कश्मीर का वह सच दिखा सके..जिसके कारण कश्मीर घाटी करीब करीब हिन्दू विहीन हो गयी। उतनी ही हिम्मत की जरूरत थी “‘द केरल स्टोरी”‘ को बनाने में जिसे सुदीप्तो सेन ने बखूबी कर दिखाया..! क्या इस्लाम यही है, क्या इनका शरिया क़ानून यही है. ये कहानी उस केरला की है जहां 94% साक्षरता है. पर क्या यही वास्तविकता है. क्या कहती है कहानी अफगानिस्तान की एक जेल में फातिमा नाम की लड़की बंद है। और उससे पूछताछ की जा रही है। उससे पूछा जाता है कि उसने ISIS कब और क्यों join की। इसके बाद वह लड़की अपनी सारी कहानी सुनाने लगती है। वास्तव में उसका असली नाम शालिनी था। वह हिन्दू लड़की थी और भारत के केरल की रहने वाली थी। उस दौरान आतंकवादी संगठन ISIS सीरिया से लेकर अफगानिस्तान तक फैल गया था। एक दिन उनका लीडर कुछ मुस्लिम लड़कों से कहता है कि लड़कियों को अपने प्रेम जाल में फँसाओ। उनका धर्म परिवर्तन करवाओ। उनसे शादी करो और उन्हें प्रेग्नेंट करो। फिर अफ़ग़ानिस्तान लाकर उन्हें ISIS में भर्ती करवा दो। फिर उन्हें भी terrorist बना दो। इसके बाद वे मुस्लिम युवक, उनके साथ एकमुस्लिम लड़की को भी भेजा जाता है ताकि वे हिंदू लड़कियों को तरह-तरह से ब्रेनवाश करें। अगर कास्ट की बात करें अदा शर्मा फिल्म ‘द केरल स्टोरी’ में मुख्य भूमिका निभा रही हैं। पहले शालिनी और फिर फातिमा के किरदार में उन्होंने फिल्म को एक तरह से अपने दोनों कंधों पर उठाए रखा है। केरल से ताल्लुक रखने वाली अपनी मां से मलयालम उन्हें घुट्टी में मिली ही है। वह परदे पर मलयालम बोलती भी कमाल की हैं। शालिनी की सहेलियों के किरदार में योगिता बिहानी और सिद्धि इदनानी ने भी बहुत ही असरदार अभिनय किया है। एक कम्युनिस्ट नेता की बेटी के रोल में सिद्धि अपने किरदार का पूरा ग्राफ जीती हैं और प्रेम में डूबी लड़की से लेकर अपनी अस्मिता गंवाकर होश में आई लड़की की घुटने न टेकने वाले एलान तक के दृश्यों में उनका अभिनय नोटिस करने लायक है। योगिता बिहानी के किरदार का काम फिल्म में होशियार लड़की का है लेकिन धोखे से जब उसके साथ भी सामूहिक बलात्कार होता है तो वह इस पूरे षड्यंत्र का पर्दाफाश करने का बीड़ा उठाती है। और, इस किरदार को परदे पर इसके सारे अवयवों के साथ योगिता ने बहुत ही खूबसूरती से पेश भी किया है। सोनिया बलानी यहां उस युवती के किरदार में है जिसके पास साधारण घर की युवतियों को बहला फुसला कर उन युवकों के आगोश में पहुंचाने की जिम्मेदारी है जो इनका शील भंग करके इन्हें अपने कहे रास्ते पर चलने को मजबूर कर देते हैं। फिल्म देखे या नहीं ये कहानी हिंदू मुस्लिम सिख या ईसाई की नहीं ये कहानी ऐसी है जो हमें बताती है की ब्रेनवास कैसे किया जाता है और ऐसे लोग हमारे आसपास ही होते है, और हम उन्हें कितना अपने ऊपर हावी होने देते है। ये कहानी देखनी है या नहीं देखनी ये आप तय कीजिए पर आतंकवाद किस तरह अपनी जड़ हमारे देश में जमा रही अगर ये देखना है तो आप जरूर जाकर देखें और खुद से पूछें कि हमारी संस्कृति हमसे कितनी जुड़ी हुई है। फिल्म ‘द केरल स्टोरी’ को अगर निष्पक्ष भाव से देखा जाए तो ये एक प्रोमेगैंडा फिल्म बिल्कुल नहीं नजर आती।

Because of this, this method does not promote practical learning, and students always struggle to apply their knowledge to real-life situations. In order to modernise the education system, we need to shift our focus to practical learning, so that students can apply their knowledge to real-world situations and should succeed in whatsoever they are doing. Focusing on Critical Thinking - Critical thinking is a very necessary skill that is necessary in today's job market in almost every company. By focusing on critical thinking, students will be able to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to problems they get. Technology development - Technology can totally change the working of the education system in India. By installing technology in the classroom, students can access information easily and learn at their own pace of learning. This can be achieved through e-books, e-library and educational apps. India's education system needs modernisation to keep up with the rapidly changing world which is growing so fast. We have to shift our focus to practical learning and critical thinking, introduce technology into the classroom and encourage open-mindedness.
