Come Join the Pickleball Influencer Hunt!

Bennett University launches a unique ‘PICKLEBALL INFLUENCER HUNT for its students through which they will get an opportunity to be part of the first-ever Indian Pickleball League that is taking place in New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium from December 1 to 7, 2025.

Bennett University is also a sponsor for Team ‘Lucknow Leopards’ which is one of the six teams taking part in IPBL 2025. What’s more Miss India Aayushi Dholakia is going to be at BU campus on November 29th to select the final winners of the Pickleball Influencer Hunt.

At the players auction held on November 22 at St. Regis Hotel in Mumbai, Lucknow Leopards built their team around India’s top ranked singles player Aditya Ruhela and USA’s Ryler Deheart. Lucknow Leopards is gearing up to challenge for the title in the inaugural Indian Pickleball league next month. USA’s Shelby Bates and India’s Mihika Yadav will be the women’s superstar players in the League while Ronav Motiani (Rising Star Male) and Naomi Amalsadiwala (Rising Star Female) complete the six team lineup.


The inaugural Indian Pickleball League is launched by The Times Group and recognised as the country’s only national league sanctioned by the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (MYAS).

Lucknow Leopards is owned by Ms. Shreya Agarwal and being led by TSOM Deputy Dean & BU’s Head of Centre for Media & Technology Prof. Dhiraj Singh. As Team Principal, Prof. Singh will be overseeing the team’s strategy, performance, press and publicity.

Speaking to Times of Bennett, Prof. Dhiraj Singh said: “The Pickleball Influencer Hunt is a unique opportunity for Bennett students to become part of something that is set to become a rage in the days to come. Both the sport of pickleball as well as those who are influencers of the game are in for a massive boom in fans and followers through this IPBL season. I would urge all students to participate in the Hunt in huge numbers.”
