BU drives AI innovation with Global Summit '24

Greater Noida: Bennett University's School of Computer Science, Engineering, and Technology (SCSET) recently concluded the prestigious Global AI Summit 2024, a three-day international conference on AI and emerging technologies. The summit successfully brought together top AI experts, industry leaders, and academic luminaries from over 25 countries.

"This landmark event will serve as a global stage for exploring cutting-edge developments, ethical challenges, and promising pathways in the era of Artificial Intelligence," said Prof. (Dr.) Abhay Bansal, Dean of SCSET, during the opening session on Day 1 of the summit.

Day 1: A Grand Opening Ceremony

The summit began with an impressive inauguration, featuring keynote addresses by leading AI experts. Prof. (Dr.) Soumitra Dutta, Peter Moores Dean at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, delivered the inaugural address, highlighting AI’s limitless potential to reshape industries and societies. University dignitaries also launched the summit proceedings in this ceremony—a first for the conference.

Their thought-provoking addresses summarized the major themes and accomplishments of the summit, while emphasizing the need for continued collaboration, innovation, and ethical considerations in AI development.

The event also included the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) between Bennett University and international institutions, paving the way for future academic collaborations and research exchanges.
