Poetry Interpretation Competition
Cerebrum, the literary club of Bennett University hosted a ‘Poetry Interpretation Competition’ on October 10, 2018 for all poetry enthusiasts. Four teams participated in the competition and each team had to come up with their own personal interpretation of either the poem ‘The Tyger’ or ‘Daffodils’. Some teams used comics to present their interpretation while other chose to dramatize their understanding of the poem. The participants were judged on originality, creativity and presentation. Delhi Times Fresh Face 2018

Felicitation ceremony of Bennett Sports Committee
A felicitation ceremony was organised for the Bennett Sports Committee on October 9, 2018. Sports officers - Vineet Nehra and Pratima Singh, Chief Security Officer - Ganesh Khatri, Administration Head - Harish Srivastava, Dean of Engineering & Applied Sciences - Dr. Suneet Tuli and Dean of Student Affairs - Dr. Milind Padalkar graced the event with their presence. The event began with distribution of certificates and gifts for the players that won medals and trophies at the BML Munjal Hero’s Challenge 2.0 sports fest. Sports department of Bennett University organised an interesting recreational Water Polo tournament on October 4, 2018 exclusively for the faculty and staff members. Pulse organises blind date for BU students
Pulse, the event management club of Bennett University for the first time organised a blind date event for the students. This event gave a platform to students to interact with people they have never spoken to. The event had mini games that finally lead to a couple winning the title of ‘Best Pair’. Faculty compete for top spot in Shuttle Bug Finals
The Shuttle Bug Finals organised by the sports department of Bennett University was held in the grand sports complex of the university. The finals included two faculty members competing against each other for the top spot, clashing their rackets with much enthusiasm. The finale was held on September 10, 2018.

It’s Pyjama o’ clock!
Bennett’s entrepreneurship club, Spark organized pyjama party for the students on Thursday. The event was conducted by the core members of the club. The conference on ‘Impact of Technology on HR practices’ organised by Career Service Centre at Bennett University brought together CXO’s, CHRO’s, TA Heads and Senior HR Leaders on a single forum to share their ideas and insights and discuss the future of HR practices in this era of AI technology. The Keynote speakers for the event, Raj Jain, CEO, Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd and Vineet Nayar, Foundation chairman of Sampark foundation and Former CEO of HCL technologies Ltd talked about the changing trends in HR practices and how it can survive in this technological age and stay relevant.
