Enabling women to address climate change through films
A three-day workshop on Climate Change and Gender Intersectionalities has been organised from March 1-3 at the Alliance Francaise, Lodhi Estate as part of the International Association of Women in Radio & Television (IAWRT )18 th edition of the film festival. The participants include a diverse group of women and adolescent girls from rural, tribal, fisher communities, urban poor, and students. BU beats Galgotias in Basketball tourney
In the highly anticipated inter-university basketball competition held, Bennett University managed to defeat Galgotias University by 48-34. The competition, held on February 25, 2023, was hosted by NBA Academy India at Bennett University’s Sports Complex and featured teams from Ramjas College, Shrimati Indira Gandhi College, Shri Ram College of Commerce, Motilal Nehru College, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College and, NBA Academy.

Pollution, climate change biggest challenges: Expert Panel
A panel discussion on “How India and G20 Can Help the Climate Agenda: Lessons from the Air We Breathe in Delhi” was held at Bennett University. The panelists included Dr Ravi Kant Pathak, Associate Professor at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, Dr. EpameiNondas Tsiligiannis, research engineer at the University of Gothenburg, Mr. Harsh Raj Mishra resident researcher at the Indo Gangetic Plains – Centre of Air Research and Education (IGP-CARE), and Mr. Prateek Kumar, an environmentalist and advocacy consultant.

Orientation Day at the Times School of Media

Uphoria 4.0 kick starts with a bang
Bennett University’s annual festival Uphoria 4.0 started with the official opening ceremony. Vice Chancellor Dr. Raghunath K. Shevgaonkar inaugurated the fest with the lamp lighting ceremony and a speech. Punjabi music heartthrob, Milind Gaba performs at BU
Popular for catchy songs like ‘Nazar Lag Jaayegi’ and ‘She Don’t Know’, Punjabi singer Milind Gaba performed live in Bennett University on Day 2 of Uphoria 4.0, 2020. The students were thrilled to have him on stage and enthusiastically sang along with him. He performed popular tracks other than his own such as ‘Gud naal ishq mitha’ by Malkit Singh and ‘Lehenga’ by Jass Manak. The crowd was extremely excited and energized during his entire performance, some even called it a “dream come true” for them to see one of their favourite Punjabi singers performing live in their college! 'Heroic Hearts' wins Kabaddi Tournament '20
Recently a Kabaddi Tournament was held at Bennett University. In the tournament, total six teams participated to be the ultimate Kabaddi Champion. The tournament followed the knockout procedure for the elimination. Winter harvest festival Lohri, was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm in the Bennett campus. Teachers and students participated in the lighting of the auspicious fire. The festival was celebrated with pomp and grandeur. Students expressed their joy through Bhangra and Gidda.
