GIVING YOURSELF TIME

We as humans tend to live in an emotional rollercoaster which sets us apart but also unites us in many ways.
Not every experience is good but it doesn’t mean that it has to be bad, taking the positive element out of every situation is something life changing. During tough times one thing which leads the way is comparison and one just ends up comparing itself to others, making things hard to deal with. Comparing oneself with others is harmful for one’s mental health, mainly the reason being it leading to negative self- talk. Another factor is that one doesn't know what the other is going through. Major influence for this is social media with those happy faces and hidden emotions we tend to assume the unknown.
Owning a little pride in moments like these never goes wrong, just by knowing that you are doing the best you can do is essential. You fall to rise and you break to bond. Things may seem never ending but there’s always light at the end of the tunnel, just by keeping the ray of hope within oneself can make things miraculously better. Giving credits to oneself for doing good and succeeding at something even if it's the tiniest thing, it still is an accomplishment, so celebrate that. Tell yourself that even if bad days knock at your door they will go away. Taking time for yourself doing things which gives one peace whether it be meditation, reading, going out for a walk, or just watching something which you may like. Give yourself time to settle down and rest without guilt.
