Hey readers,
I hope you had a great week. Welcome to my new blog.

In the previous blog, we talked about how maintaining a to-do list can help reduce stress and anxiety. In this blog, we'll talk about a centuries-old practice that can help reduce stress and anxiety and improve overall well-being: "the practice of meditation."

I took a 6-day challenge to meditate daily, and here's how it went:

1. Meditating daily really helped me concentrate better and pay more attention to lectures, because of which I was able to do self-study really well.
2. Daily meditation also helped me keep calm in complicated situations, and I was able to think more rationally.
3. If you are short-tempered, meditating daily can help you tremendously, as once you start practicing meditation, you become more patient and mindful.
4. One thing I noticed was that when I meditated at night before going to bed, I was able to sleep better and wake up fresh.

Meditating daily can have a lot of benefits, and if you want to inculcate this habit in your daily routine, here are some tips.

1. Always choose a quiet and peaceful place and sit comfortably in a position that you can hold for the entire session.
2. Begin with shorter sessions of 5–10 minutes, then gradually increase your time and imagine you are inhaling all the positive energy and exhaling all the negative energy.
3. You can visualise yourself in a peaceful place, like near a river or in a forest. You can also visualise yourself surrounded by positive energy and feeling confident.

Meditating daily is a habit that can bring a sense of serenity and balance to your life, and with calmness and consistency, you can experience many benefits from meditating daily.

That's it for today's blog. Thank you for reading.😊
