Bennett University inks MoU with S.P. Jain Group for Global Academic Pathways
Greater Noida, 10th July 2025: Bennett University, The Times Group’s higher education institution, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with premier global management school S.P. Jain Group in Mumbai on July 10, 2025. This collaboration aims to create international academic pathways for undergraduate students, providing them with unparalleled global learning experiences.

As part of this collaboration, students will now have the opportunity to pursue international academic pathways through structured 2+2 and 3+1 degree programs. Under the 2+2 model, students will study the first two years at Bennett University and then complete the final two years at S.P. Jain Group’s campuses in London or Sydney. Similarly, the 3+1 model allows students to complete three years at Bennett and then either finish their undergraduate studies or transition into a master’s program at S.P. Jain Group, based on the pathway in effect.

This landmark MoU reinforces Bennett University’s vision to deliver globally benchmarked education, further strengthens its Global Pathways Program, equipping students with global competencies and exposure to world-class learning ecosystems, and cements its position as a leader in shaping future-ready professionals.

Mr. Vineet Jain, Chancellor, Bennett University and Managing Director, The Times Group, emphasized the importance of this transformative alliance, stating, “At Bennett University, our mission is to empower students with a world-class education that goes beyond the classroom. This new partnership with S.P. Jain Group marks a significant milestone in our global pathways program. Leveraging S.P. Jain Group’s practice-driven pedagogy and deep-rooted industry connections within London or Sydney, this collaboration will provide our graduates with critical global exposure, valuable networking platforms, and the real-world skills required to lead in an increasingly interconnected and fast-evolving world.”

Signing the MoU, Mr. Gaurav Jain from S.P. Jain Group said, “At S.P. Jain Group, our vision is to shape globally competent leaders through transformative education in the heart of London or Sydney—the world’s foremost academic and financial capitals. This strategic partnership with Bennett University reflects our shared commitment to expanding access to global learning. Together, we will empower students from India with a seamless international academic journey and immersive exposure to global industry, culture, and innovation.”

Both institutions have agreed on a collaboration for academic alignment involving curricula design, aligning course material, learning objectives, and academic standards for the courses included in the 2+2 and 3+1 programs. As per the MoU, both universities will forge a mutually agreed-upon credit transfer mechanism that ensures seamless transition for students from Bennett University to S.P. Jain Group, London or Sydney. The partnership will establish robust student mobility protocols, support systems, including academic advising, orientation, visa arrangements, and logistical support, to ensure student success during their transition between campuses.

The universities will explore opportunities to integrate international exposure through internships, exchange programs, or industry collaborations in India, the United Kingdom, and Australia, to enrich the students’ educational experience.

As part of this collaboration, students will gain from the S.P. Jain Group’s learning ecosystem, including its multi-city education model for cross-cultural understanding. Its strategic location offers excellent access to global companies for networking and internships. A practical, future-ready curriculum blending business and technology will equip students with in-demand skills for today’s innovation-driven economy.

Times School of Media at Bennett University hosted the inaugural 'Bennett Dialogues' session, featuring West Asia expert Waiel Awwad in conversation with senior journalist Zakka Jacob. They discussed the Israel-Iran-USA conflict's global implications, including its roots in broader U.S.-China-Russia geopolitics, Israel's territorial ambitions per its scriptures, Gaza's humanitarian crisis affecting 2.6 million, and uneven global responses to events like October 7.Awwad critiqued U.S. "weapons of mass deception" over 253 years (e.g., Vietnam, Iraq, Iran), highlighted media bias with "no free media," and linked wars to economic greed over oil and chokepoints like the Strait of Hormuz. He shared experiences from conflict zones, including the 2008 Mumbai attacks, and noted India's proactive stance amid potential economic risks like inflation. The event, attended by students and faculty, ended with Deputy Dean Prof. Dhiraj Singh's vote of thanks, promoting critical thinking on international issues.

A Curtain Call to Remember: Jashn-E-Cinema 2026

Jashn-E-Cinema 2026 embodied the university's vibrant cultural spirit through a night of unity, talent, and reflection. The highlight was BYOB Live's finale, where the audience joined in singing and swaying, blurring the stage and crowd in a shared, emotional celebration marking the year's end. The evening opened with a poignant badge ceremony honouring club leaders for their dedication, setting a reflective tone before the performances. Clubs showcased diverse talents: Advaita's energetic band set the musical rhythm; Cerebrum's witty Farzi Mushaira skit satirised poetry; Panache's ethnic-modern ramp walk dazzled visually; Verve's narrative Bollywood dance enthralled; Ansh's comedic theatre Big B chal Padhe delivered laughs; and Rivaaz's classical dance closed gracefully. Vikram Singh, Music Society Secretary, summed it up: “A great end to the year—a final goodbye, but a celebration of what we’ve built together.” The event was a farewell tapestry of collaboration, from quiet honours to explosive energy.
