Bennett University welcomes a new wave of dreamers, innovators, and achievers at Deeksharambh 2025
Bennett University proudly hosted Deeksharambh 2025, the orientation that marks the beginning of an exciting academic journey for the new batch, featuring interactive sessions, faculty addresses, and ice-breaker activities designed to introduce academic rigor, professional ethos, and campus life.

This year, an inspiring lineup of leaders and visionaries joined the inaugural ceremony to share their wisdom, igniting confidence, innovation, and purpose in every student.

Dr. Akhil Prasad, Board Member, Group General Counsel, Company Secretary at Boeing India, graced the occasion as the chief guest. In his address, he said, “People will always have a perception about you, but criticism, whether positive or negative, students should always embrace feedback as a means of growth and self-improvement.” He emphasised that while stepping into the real-world industry brings opportunities, it also presents challenges, and success lies in maintaining an open mind, seeking feedback, and taking corrective measures to continually evolve.

Highlighting the qualities of future leaders, he further said, “ Professional success is not confined to merely holding a degree but depends on being a problem solver with a ‘can-do’ approach, an openness to lifelong learning, and the ability to reinvent oneself.” He urged students to follow their passion and heart, while also maintaining a balanced lifestyle.

Mr. Hari Krishnan, Managing Director, Content & Groupé Marcomm, Publicis Groupé India, joined as a Distinguished Guest at Deeksharambh 2025 and shared thought-provoking insights with the incoming batch. Encouraging students to live in the present, he remarked, “Am I living in the Now? It is only in the Now that you begin shaping the real future.” He urged them to develop themselves as well-rounded individuals—a holistic 360-degree version of themselves—and to embark on a journey of self-discovery. He advised students to find their uniqueness rather than being confined by labels, and to embrace a culture of questioning, as “it is these questions that will guide you through life.”

Mr. R. Ramanan, Founder & Mission Director – Atal Innovation Mission and Former Additional Secretary, NITI Aayog, graced the ceremony as the Guest of Honour at Deeksharambh 2025. In his inspiring address, he reminded students that they are the architects of the nation’s future, capable of transforming the world at large. Steve Jobs once said, "I want to put a ding in the universe." The same spirit must drive you to ask yourself, 'What is it that makes my life meaningful?'

Mr. Ramanan emphasised that this is the time of opportunity for students to shape their destinies by adopting a problem-solving mindset. He encouraged them to dare to dream and dream to dare—to dream big without fear and nurture curiosity, as it is curiosity that ignites problem-solving skills.

Ms. Navika Kumar, Group Editor-in-Chief, Times Now, as Special Guest, said, "Deeksharambh to me is a Sanskrit word that carries immense meaning. It is about a sense of purpose, a promise, and a way forward. Our culture has always emphasised the guru-shishya bond, which is about learning the difference between right and wrong. Gurus are your older family members - a bond that transcends the sands of time. We are in a unique country where culture meets the intelligence, technology, and know-how of today and tomorrow. You, the new students, are the ones who will build the new India. And in doing so, you must carry the responsibility of bridging this divide between Bharat and India."

Bennett University buzzed with energy as the Under 25 Summit united artists, creators, and performers. Actor Ayush Mehra shared film industry insights, followed by Vibe Dance Crew’s electrifying moves. RJ Abhinav inspired students with humour and motivation, while DJ Neel Chhabra and rapper DRV closed the evening with an unforgettable performance.

Deeksharambh drew to a close with the much-awaited cultural night, which brought the campus alive and showcased the artistry Bennett University has to offer. Advaita, the university’s music club, set the tone with their soulful performance, followed by Ansh, the theatre club, which left the audience chanting for more. Cerebrum, the literary club, stirred minds with their thought-provoking words, while Panache, the fashion club, lit up the runway with their elegance and style. Verve and Rivaaz, the dance clubs, performed a fusion, bringing unmatched energy to the event.

The night ended with an unforgettable performance by the Drum Twins featuring DJ Czetan, leaving everyone spellbound.
